Southekayi Huli (Cucumber Curd Sambar) - by P. V. Sathayvathi , Singapore

Ingredients:

Southekayi (Cucumber) 1
Curd 1 cup
Fresh grated coconnut 1 cup
Turmeric powder 1/4tsp
Green chillies
Salt to taste

For seasoning:
Oil
Musterd seeds
Redchilli 1
Curry leaves




Method:

Cut southekkai into small pieces.

Cook it adding some water .When it is half  cooked add salt & turmeric powder.

Grind coconut with curd & chillies.

When vegetable is fully cooked, add this & allow it to boil.Then add seasonings.

Serve this with plain rice.
