Poondu Kozhambu by Kalpana . V

Ingredients:

Garlic cloves - 10
Mustard - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - little
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Tomatoes ( medium )-2
Coconut ( paste or milk ) 1 small cup
Coriander Powder - 1 1/2 t.spn
Tamarind - small ball
Chillie powder - 2 tsp
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 3 t.spn

Method:

Heat pan add oil & season with mustard , curry leaves & urad dal.Add garlic cloves & tomatoes fry till it turns tender.Add corainder  ,chilli & turmeric powder & fry for 2-3 mins. Add 1/4 cup of water & add salt to taste & boil for 4 mins.Add coconut milk or paste with tamarind water. Leave until it becomes thick.

Kathrikai Goshtu by Kalpana . V
Brinjal(eggplant) - 6
Thoor Dal - 1/2 cup
Channa Dal- 1/2 cup
Onion - 1
Red Chillies - 3-4
Jeera - 1 tsp
Urad dal - 1 tsp
Mutard - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 3 tsp
Tumeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cook brinjal with little salt & turmeric powder. Cook Thoor dal & channa dal with half of the onion & salt to taste.

Add oil in a pan. Add mustard, red chillies, urad dal, jeera & cut onions. Fry for 2 mins. Add the cooked brinjal & dals & mix.
