Palak(spinach) Bhaji   by Vimala, Sweden    
She likes cooking, specially..traditional south vegetarian.

Ingredients:

Palak(spinach) -200gms, chopped and cleaned
Onion -2cut legnthywise,
Garlic -4(small),
Green chilli -4(cut legnthywise),
Basan -2tbsp,
Oil -3tbsp,
Curry leaves -1twig,
Salt,
Chilli powder -2tsp

For tempering:
Mustard seeds -½tsp,
Dry red chilli-4(broken),
Urad dal -½tsp,
Jeera -½tsp

Method:

First start with tempering, after done add green chopped chilli, onion, garlic, turmeric, curry leaves. Fry for 2 minutes till they turn to brown.

Add palak(simmer), mix well.

Now sprinkle besan, salt and chilli powder. Do not mix.

Put the lid and let it cook for 3 minutes on low heat.

Remove the lid and now mix thoroughly until palak cooked with basan. It gives good flavour.

Remove from heat and serve with plain rice or with roti.
