Spinach Pathal Bhaaji - by Deepa Kulkarni

Ingredients:

Chopped Spinach 2 cups
Rice flour 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Tamarind juice 1 tsp
Ajwain( Tymol seeds) 1 tsp
Garlic 2 flakes
Oil 2 tsps


Method:

Take a vessel. Add about two cups of water. Mix chopped spinach and cook until smooth. Add tamarind juice. Mix rice flour with little water and then add it to the cooked spinach. Add salt and cook till the gravy becomes thick.

Heat oil, and do the seasoning with ajwain and garlic. Pour it over the gravy.

Serve with chapathi or plain rice as a side dish.
