Ingredients:
Toor dal - 1 cup

Method:
Soak dal for a couple of hours or until soft. Grind coarsely in a food processor with minimum amount of water. To this ground mixture add all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Take a fist full of the mix and squeeze out extra water (if any, shape into oval/oblong balls and steam in the pressure cooker for 7-8 mins. You can use greased idli plates for steaming. Allow the pressure cooker to stand for 8-10 minutes. Serve with melted ghee and plain punjabi khadi or majjige huli.
